RECESSED DRESSER
RECESSED DRESSER - We built this dresser to completely fill the length of wall and reduced the depth to leave the doorway clear. All of our dressers are made to the individual requirements of our customers, for both size and storage needs.
CHEFS PANTRY
CHEFS PANTRY - This has chrome baskets on the back of the door, combined with chrome baskets inside the unit which revolve out into the room for better access.
PLATE DISPLAYS
PLATE DISPLAYS - This customer asked if we could box the space between the wall units and the ceiling in to create a display shelf for plates. We achieved this using matching Oak with a small cornice moulding along the ceiling and turning small pilasters as corner mouldings to match the rest of the kitchen.
PULL OUT CHROME BASKETS
PULL OUT CHROME BASKETS - Kitchen design is very much influenced by easy access storage as seen here with a three tier chrome fully extending basket and a 150mm wide pull-out towel rail and chrome basket. These systems are available in a large variety of heights, widths and depths with several specialist items such as tray racks and bottle racks.
LARDER STORAGE
LARDER STORAGE - Here is a good way to maximise storage in a pair of larder units using spice racks on the inside of the doors and with large fully extending drawers in the base. There are a a vast selection of dividing rails available for the deep drawers, from chrome rods to hold juice bottles upright, to dividing fins as used here to support bags of flour.
FEATURE DOORS
FEATURE DOORS - this is a good way of adding interest to a run of units. The top two wall unit doors have small framed bubble glass windows and the feature door in the base unit has a wire meat safe mesh.
OAK TABLE and CHAIRS
OAK TABLE and CHAIRS - We can make kitchen tables to the exact size required for any kitchen, finished in the same style and colour as the kitchen. We have a vast range of chair styles available which we will colour to match the kitchen.
TELEPHONE TABLE
TELEPHONE TABLE - This has been made with Blue Pearl Granite to match the kitchen work surfaces with a hand carved oak corbel to provide support.
GRANITE SPLASH BACK
GRANITE SPLASH BACK - This kitchen was for a very busy Guest House and the client wanted a wall covering around the hob area which would be easy to keep clean. Granite not only looks very impressive, but is also easily wiped clean. We created the chimney feature by using a shallow frame mounted on the wall with door panels and a stepped forward mantel shelf with cornice moulding to match the kitchen.
OAK FARMHOUSE DRESSER
OAK FARMHOUSE DRESSER - This Dresser was built to meet the requirements of a large farmhouse kitchen using a lightly stained rustic Oak door. The base has an open knee hole with a fret along the top which is repeated in the open display space above. The wide drawer is ideal for tablecloths, etc., and there is a set of five small working spice drawers above. The open display central unit has been set back to break up the line of the cornice moulding on the top of the units. This adds interest to the piece and makes the glass units more prominent. Finally, we used a solid Oak nosing for all three edges of the laminate work surface to make the piece look more like a traditional dresser.
OAK BENCH
OAK BENCH - This has been a popular design idea. We use solid Oak tongue and groove boards for the back and armrest with a solid Oak seat which can be covered with material or a cushion. Additional short pilasters can be used as in this one and a deep drawer is used under the seat for storage. This particular seat was designed as a telephone seat and children's' shoe storage.
CHIMNEY MANTEL
CHIMNEY MANTEL - The Oak mantel was set onto a pair of dressed stone corbels with tapered chimney breast above, allowing plates to be on display above the cornice moulding. One of the reasons for using the stone corbels was to leave the work surface open on either side of the cooker, as opposed to mounting the mantel on 'sit on counter' wall units.
