The theme for this kitchen was a mixture of Cream and Oak.
We used solid Oak hand-carved corbels to support the over-hanging cornice which houses down lights to illuminate the unit fronts.
Sandwiched between the four layers of Oak used to create the cornice, we placed a 20mm layer of cream painted Maple.
The Granite work surfaces were made using three layers, with the top layer using 30mm Nero Assaluto then a 10mm layer of Limestone in the centre and a 20mm base layer of Nero Assaluto.

Chefs PantryWe created these units to soften the corner and lead you through to the adjoining room.
The base units have deep full-extension drawers with a chefs pantry in the top incorporating storage on the backs of the doors and chrome baskets which pull-out into the room for easy access.
You can see a view of this unit when opened on the 'Ideas Page'.

The view below shows the Double Bowl Ceramic Sink. The units were set forward around the sink area with pilasters on both sides. We used Oak doors under the ceramic sink to help emphasise it.

Through this feature stone port-hole you
can see another custom built unit with a pediment on top, featuring Oak pilasters and corbels.
It is essential that good lighting is designed into the kitchen from the outset.
